I've been feeling a lot more lightheaded and fainting more than usual lately. The heat was really affecting me so we bought an air conditioner, which has helped a bit. I've been referred to a POTS specialist in Calgary, named Dr. Raj. He's one of the best doctors for POTS in North America, and has written many articles about POTS. I'm waiting to hear back from their office still. https://www.ucalgary.ca/utoday/issue/2014-09-30/new-clinic-helps-heart-patients-who-cant-stand-stand I've been able to hang out a lot with my friend Sarah (who also has POTS). She's able to drive so she often drives me to my appointments. We often joke that we're the blind leading the blind. The other day my friend picked me up and drove me around in her 1969 Barracuda that she restored. That was a lot of fun. When we got home I was so exhausted I fell asleep around 8. And I gave Archie a little hair cut. You can see his eyes again! Happy Wednesday!

HI Lisa! My 17 yr old daughter has POTS symptoms. I found your blog while looking for Dr. Raj. We are also in Calgary :) I am wondering how long it takes to get to see him? She is going to uni overseas in the fall and I am not sure she would get an appt in time. I am so glad I found your blog! I am a member of a couple of the facebook groups too. What a nasty condition this is!! I wish you all the best in your feeling better quest!!!
