In the end, I managed to walk 2.39 km!
I feel like I'm over whatever bug/infection I had and just need to recondition myself to exercising again. I woke up today with a goal of exercising and cleaning up the house a bit. I lay in bed and I thought to myself, "I don't feel good. I don't want to do that today." But then I told myself, "I don't care that I don't feel good. It doesn't matter how I feel, I still have to do it." Sometimes thinking that helps me get moving. In the end, I managed to walk 2.39 km! After I got home I was watching TV when suddenly I got a crushing weight on my chest. I felt really faint and dizzy. Breathing felt like so much effort. There was also this pressure in my head that was really strange and I got nauseous. I took my blood pressure and it averaged around 150/110 with a pulse of 57, going as low as 51! That is so abnormal for me and it did not feel okay. It lasted about an hour and then returned to my normal 95/65 with a pulse of 80. I think it's a result of my increased dose of Midodrine. I'm going to call my cardiologist tomorrow to make sure it's safe for me to stay at this dosage. UPDATE: I got in touch with my cardiologist and she told me to go back down to my lower dose of Midodrine as this dose seems to be too high for my body.
