A good juicer removes most of the fiber from the fruits and vegetables, leaving only the water and nutrients. People with Gastroparesis have a difficult time digesting fiber. I was becoming malnourished until we invested in a juicer last year. I would recommend spending a little more on a juicer that is easy to clean. For a refreshing (summery) juice I like the flavour of (green or tart) apple with cucumber, apple juice as a liquid base/sweetener. Handful or two of spinach. sprig of fresh mint, or fresh leaves to taste. Apologies if any of these ingredients are not POTS/gastroparesis-friendly--I'm very new to all this.
