Working From Home
I see this question all the time on different online support groups that I belong to. How can I contribute and support my family??? So many of us are in the same boat - we're not healthy enough to be reliable or have a set work schedule. We need frequent naps and can't be on our feet or even sitting in an office chair for long.
Some of us are lucky enough to be accepted for disability. But even then, it's often not enough to live on.

The key is to find jobs that pay based on what you accomplish, and not hourly. That way you can take as many breaks as you want and not over do it. Working from home on your couch is ideal.

Some people use their experiences with chronic illness to inspire a small business. For example, my friend purchased a cooling vest online for me. The cooling vest was made by a mother who's son needed a cooling vest, however she couldn't find one that met all his needs. So she not only sewed a vest for him, but she began to take orders online making cooling vests for others.
