She agreed that I'm continuing to slowly improve! She reminded me that we never expected a fast recovery so slow improvement is awesome.
My blood pressure has been closer to normal and my resting heart rate has been slightly slower. It's a significant improvement from when I first saw her in February and had readings like 102/88 and 80/50. I remember walking around the floor with her in February, trying to find a manual blood pressure cuff as her automatic one couldn't detect my low blood pressure and weak pulse.
I don't have ADHD but a symptom of POTS and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (aka Myalgic Encephalomyelitis) is terrible brain fog and difficulty focusing. I've always loved reading and learning new things, so not being able to focus has been frustrating. I always took my ability to focus for granted - I never realized what a gift it was.
