I'm terrible at keeping plants alive. So it's a big deal that this is the first time I've been able to really grow anything. This is our beautiful balcony. It's small but perfect for one person to sit and enjoy. This is my little basil plant. I actually grew something edible!!! Well my grandpa gave me these chives, but I haven't killed them yet! I also finished scanning the big box of slides my parents gave me. I've scanned over 1000 slides! Tonight my parents are bringing me some more slides to scan. I love just feeling happy and content. I'm really thankful that God has shown me how to really enjoy the littlest of things. This morning I woke up with a headache, dizziness, bad stomach pain, and nausea. In the past, that would've likely indicated a crappy day. But instead, I went outside on our beautiful balcony, saw my little red tomato, was greeted by an adorable little white poof-ball who just wanted to cuddle, and was surrounded by people I love. I'm so thankful that I've been learning how to focus on those things instead of the negative. Archie loves feet. He thinks they exist solely for his amusement.
