After failing and dropping out of multiple university classes, this is a great confidence booster.
I've really had an awesome summer, all things considered. I've been continuing to improve slowly with no major set backs. I've been able to swim, bike, canoe... I've gone to Stanley Park and Burnaby Mountain, got to see family in the USA, had a surprise party, and spent time with many wonderful people.
I continually remind myself of these things. It's easy to get caught up in all the things I wanted to do this summer but couldn't. Or count the number of days I was stuck on the coach feeling awful.
But if I think of those things, I miss out on all the amazing times I had.
